Hey! If you're looking for a new, fun-for-all-ages approach to prayer, might I suggest Sybil Macbeth's method of Praying in Color.

You can learn more about the particulars of Praying in Color from Sybil Macbeth's book, or even from her website, but it is also a method you can use on your own in any way you want.

You can use words, or just pictures.

You can use it to celebrate the season, such as in Advent, Christmas, Lent, or Easter. There are even templates to help you do so on the Praying in Color Website. These templates are free and conveniently linked for you below wherever it is you are watching this video.

You can also use Praying in Color to help pray for others. Particularly if you find intercessory prayer difficult to do, this may be the method of prayer for you.

There's no "right" way to do Praying in Color. You can use color pencils, crayons, pens, markers, or even digitally on your tablet or computer.

Praying in Color is about using our creativity to help us as we communicate our prayers to God. Try it for yourself! I hope that no matter who you are or what your age is that this prayer method will be useful to you. Godspeed!
